Canyon Lakes Golf Course

Located in SW Kennewick just off HWY 395.  Challenging well-maintained public course with beautiful ponds and large greens.  The Club House has been recently remodeled and has the large “Champion Room” hosts not only golf events, but also Superbowl parties, New Year’s Eve Parties, Wine Taster Dinners, etc.  The snack bar has terrific hamburgers, sandwiches and breakfasts.  Even when I’m not golfing, I stop by for lunch.  The Pro Shop is well stocked with attractive golf attire and the latest in golf equipment.  The staff is courteious and friendly.  I have had yearly memberhips here and have enjoyed the ladies league and the couple scrambler nights are always FUN!  The  Ridgeline Condo Community, Canyon Lakes Condos, and the Adult Community, The Village @ Canyon Lakes are all located around this golf course.

Tri-City Country Club

Located in Central Kennewick just off HWY 395 and Kennewick Ave.  Older mature course with loads of shade trees and friendly squirrels, just waiting for a hand-out. Very well-maintained with tight fairways and water hazards.  Semi private , so restaurant, lounge and pool are for members only, but the course welcomes the public to play.  I have been a member in the past, and always enjoy playing here.

Sun Willows

Located just off the HWY and just down the road from the Pasco Airport.  Well-maintained Public Course with Pro Shop and Snack Bar.  I usually play this course 3 or 4 times a year and always have a good time.

Horn Rapids

Located just mintues from Richland in the Planned Community of Horn Rapids.  This course is a target course, so if you hit it short, you may end up in the desert with the sand and tumbleweed.  It is definetly challenging for me, but enjoyable, and the desert beauty is amazing.  The surrounding homes beautiful and the sq ft and styles are varied.  There is even a section reserved for “Adults Only”.  The Community Pool is terrific for the hot summer days. The course is well-maintained and the Club House is beautiful.

Columbia Point

Located in Richland on Columbia Point Drive with the Richland Yacht Club just across the street, Anthony’s Restuarant just down the street and surrounded by newer condomiums and the popular river walking trail and bike path.  This is  the “hot” spot for the Tri-Cities.  This golf course was recently redone and now offers challenging rolling hills to play up and over.  It’s a pretty course with water and sand. Usually, you can easily play in 4 hours or less.  My featured “Riverwalk” Condo Community is located just around the corner.

Meadow Springs Country Club

Absolutely beautiful Private Course with elegant club house, lounge and pool. Excellent Food and Service. The course is well manicured and always a challenge.  I never pass up an invitation to play or a chance to play in a charity tournament here.  Most of the homes surrounding this course are older, but very nice. There is a new housing development with upscale homes under construction just around the corner from Pro Shop.   Course is off Gage Blvd, close to the Columbia Center Mall.
